Antenatal Aqua, is safe, fun and relaxing, it will help to prepare your body for childbirth, whilst boosting your wellbeing and alleviating stress. Suitable for non-swimmers, it utilises exercises in water to take the pressure off your limbs, providing welcome relief from the weight of pregnancy!

Breastfeeding Groups and Support in Leeds
What is a Breastfeeding Group?
These groups are all run slightly differently; however, you can rest assured you will always be welcomed by a friendly face and refreshments! All group leaders undertake breastfeeding training so that they can offer support and signpost if you need specific help. These groups are open to all breastfeeding mums.
What is a Breastfeeding Peer Support Group?
These groups are run by trained breastfeeding peer supporters. Peer supporters are mothers who have themselves breastfed and have undertaken a training course. They are not able to give specific advice but can offer suggestions and sign-post to the most appropriate and timely help. Any breastfeeding mum is welcome!
Breastfeeding Counsellors
Breastfeeding counsellors have all breastfed and had extensive training. They offer free support, information and practical help. They offer phone support and home visits.

Maternity Circles are partnering with Baby Saints Ilkley parent and child group to bring more support for expectant and new families in the Ilkley area.

Pregnancy in Mind: Supporting parents during pregnancy and the first year after birth.
For anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, or other emotional health issues – talk to your midwife about attending this course.
Pregnancy in Mind has 2 core elements:
an antenatal group intervention delivered by professionals during the middle trimester of pregnancy
a peer support programme delivered by a team of volunteers and a volunteer manager that takes place both in pregnancy and across the first year after birth.
A regular practice of gentle yoga throughout your pregnancy is a wonderful way to keep your body healthy and supple without over-exertion, alleviate the common ailments of pregnancy such as back and pelvic girdle pain, increase energy, improve sleep and ultimately connect with your baby.
Pregnancy yoga is suitable for mums-to-be from 15 weeks onwards.
