What are your choices?

1. Moses Basket – a longstanding tradition in the UK, but an old fashioned one now.  They can be very useful for a couple of weeks as they can be moved from room to room, but it usually is just a couple of weeks before baby is too big.
2. Straight to cot – there is a lot of research to suggest the transition from womb to world is a difficult one, and babies will settle easier in a smaller environment, so usually cots are just a bit too big to be used in those early months.
3. Co-sleepers – great for keeping baby close to you in bed at night, especially if you are demand feeding, however they are limited to being attached to your bed.  What about during the day when you want baby close by?
