From 28 October to 5 November 2023 10.30am – 5.30pm, a cloak of supernatural shrouds the adventure park with a schedule of fun and creepy tricks and treats perfect for the under 12s and all the family.
Ghouls and beasties lurk in the shadows of the valley, with friendly frights plus mini and mega scares. Halloween fun is jam packed in the valley this year with everything you’d ever expect and more … it’s certainly Halloween with knobs on at Frightwater Valley!
Knock very loudly at the Trick or Treat Doors and find out which ghastly ghouls or wicked witches will meet you; you can grab a photo with your most ghastly ghoul or bothersome beasties and take a walk down Icon Avenue to meet a whole host of Halloween movies characters.
Join in at the Show Barn for a family friendly sing-along show guaranteed to keep your little monsters laughing all day; enter the Live Scare Maze – it’s family friendly during the day but as dusk falls you’ll to tread ‘scarefully’ as the darker the night, the scarier the fright!
Get into the spirit of Frightwater and come dressed in your scariest Halloween costume, there’ll be lots of prizes and winners picked each day; take part in our Fearsome facepainting; follow our Tombstone Trail around the park to find all 13 hidden tombstones – find them all and win a spooky surprise and join in with the Boo Crew for an epic finale to Frightwater Valley with your best dance moves with prizes for the best movers and shakers.
It’s fearsome fun plus all the usual rides and attractions will also be open from 10.30am, so you can have a fun-filled, frightening day full of chills, thrills and spills for the whole family!
As if you needed more, Sunday 5 November sees Fabulous Fireworks from 5.15pm for a 15 minute display choreographed to music over the Swan Lake for all our visitors in the park that day.

As many of you are aware, Rawdon Cricket Club has been hosting a much loved annual tradition – a spectacular firework display for our community and the surrounding area. Over the years, this event has brought joy and togetherness to our community and has been highly regarded as one of the “go-to” events of the calendar year.
Historically we’ve relied on the donation buckets to pay for the professional team that put the display together, so that we can keep it a free event for all, but this year we’re having to do it a little different for a number of reasons.
In order for us to be able to offer the full pyromusical display for our wonderful community, we need to raise the figure of £6,000. Without reaching this figure, we simply cannot host this prestigious event.
We therefore need YOUR help. Aided by the amazing Crowdfunder, we are asking for any donations large or small. Every little helps.
If you have enjoyed this event previously, and wish for it to continue, we would ask for any donations to get us to the figure needed to support this tremendous event, to be enjoyed by all.
Due to the open nature of the grounds, we believe that a ticketed option is not possible but we believe that a Crowdfunding approach is – and it’s RCC’s first ever Crowdfunder!
In the past, we were fortunate to secure heavily discounted prices for the fireworks. However, circumstances have changed, and these discounts are no longer available to the club. This means that our beloved firework display is now more reliant than ever on your support.
This event holds a special place in the hearts of many, and it simply cannot happen without the necessary funds. Your contributions, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in ensuring that this tradition continues to light up our community.
