Venue: Sun Lane Nature Reserve
On the site of the old village tip, Sun Lane is now a wonderful Nature Reserve at the western end of the village. The walk will be led by Joan Alred and will aim to introduce the great variety of wildlife and wildflowers to be found on the Reserve at this time of year. Information will be given on how the Reserve is managed. Its importance for biodiversity will be highlighted and the need to carefully protect and nurture this unique wildlife resource for the future. No dogs please.
