The Ilkley Manor House Trust has joined forces with Ilkley Literature Festival, Ilkley Playhouse and a range of local organisations to produce “Summer in the Courtyard”, a programme of outdoor, in-person arts and culture events. There will be feature performances from local artists, writers and musicians, as well as a range of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
All events will take place in the Manor House Courtyard. Booking is required for some of the events but all events are free to attend. Attendees will be asked to follow health and safety regulations at the venue.

Family Found Poetry
In this book-inspired poetry session, suitable for all ages, learn to craft your own found poems by choosing words from an old book page, and enjoy some literary arts and crafts at the same time.

Ilkley Literature Festival Summer Fringe’
Come and see local creatives perform in a range of art forms, including poetry, music, comedy improv and spoken word. The six evenings of outdoor performances start Thursday 22nd July and will run through to Thursday 26 August.
