Ever wanted to learn about the inner workings of the heart? Step into the shoes of a scalpel-wielding pathologist and dissect a (non-human!) heart with guidance from our medical expert!Then view our Museum of Broken Hearts, a rare chance to see what a real ‘broken’ heart looks like (in partnership with Leeds Institute of Medical Education, School of Medicine). These sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday between 11th August and 1st September, at 11 am and 2 pm (sessions last approx. 45 minutes). Limited spaces, please book in advance. Museum ticket required and charge of £4 per heart (pig or lamb hearts supplied).– minimum 1 adult and up to 2 children aged from 7 years. Morning or afternoon sessions are available. BOOK NOW
