The event is part of Bradford Council’s programme of events for International Women’s Day 2020.
Our special FREE event is ‘Rebel Women and Equality’. The event will look at inspirational women throughout history, their battle for equality and how the struggles of the past relate to the struggles for equality today. Taking our chosen Rebel Women as inspiration, we will devise and perform a short piece of original theatre to perform at the end of the session.
Whilst the issue of gender equality is a serious issue, the emphasis will definitely be fun and light-hearted, giving women a chance to discuss and create in our warm and friendly environment.
No childcare? No problem!! Our funding means we are able to offer a special dance and creative workshop for your children at the same time! What could be better? You get to have some time for you, while we entertain the kids!
