As well as our Scarecrow entry, Ghyll Royd School PTA is hosting an exciting outdoor adventure day! Visit the woodlands of Greystone Manor, home of Ghyll Royd School, for a brilliant bushcraft session. The event will be ran by forest schools practioner Vicky Wood, bushcraft specialist Mark Parry and members of the Ghyll Royd School PTA.
Turn your hand to building camp fires, woodland craft activities to make something to take home and make your own bread twizzle sticks, or toast marshmallows on the campfire! There will be 6 sessions running during the day and a maximum of 12 children per 1-hour session for just £1 per child. Burley Bushcraft is open for children aged 3-11 years old.
Enjoy a trip to Ghyll Royd’s adventure playground while you wait for your session (this will also be available for younger siblings to use) and treat yourself to cakes and refreshments available by Ghyll Royd’s PTA.
