The Show:
Tom will talk about his new book ‘Armistice Runner’, a story about fell running, love and memory, set exactly 100 years since the First World War came to an end. As well as talking about the tense last days of WW1, Tom will host a WW1 fiction quiz and challenge the children to try out the skills of the trench runner. The winner will receive a medal. Tom’s talks always feature lots of chat about reading for pleasure and how he researches, writes and edits his books.
