Stainburn is a small community just outside Otley and we are holding a fundraising event on Friday 1st June at 7.00pm at St Mary’s Church. 4 singers currently with Opera North, have an ensemble called Evermair, they are coming to the church to perform a mixed programme of Opera and musical theatre. There will be something for everyone with the evening finishing around 9.00pm. If you haven’t visited Stainburn you are in for a treat, we are a hidden gem with wonderful views.
We are raising much-needed funds for the Churches Conservation Trust, for the upkeep of the churchyard and new oak gates at St Mary’s Church.
The ticket price of £25.00 will include a drink on arrival and canapé, plus small eats in the interval and a pay bar. We a holding a raffle with wonderful prizes including a Brora rug, 2 tickets for the Everyman in Harrogate + popcorn, a Molton Brown gift box, a years supply of garden peas, Liddle lamb for the freezer, York Racecourse tickets on Tom Jones night, a round of golf at Rudding Park for 4, a bespoke handmade hat and many more goodies.
