Take part in a science class with a difference in Dr Frankenstein’s Science Lab, Cast spells and mix potions with a bewitching teacher, Join our resident werewolf for some key survival skills, Get your grisly groove on in some spectacularly spooky dance classes.

Come and scare yourselves silly with a visit to the darkened House and ghoul inhabited Farm. Prepare to be scared but have a go at spooky crafts and listen to stories as well as collect some treats on your way. Wear your most frightful outfits to fend off our ghostly surprises.

World Wars week
27th October – 10:00 am – 4th November – 5:00 pm
Come & meet characters from both World Wars as they recount their experiences through dramatic performances, storytelling & combat demonstrations.
Outside on the square there’ll be a full-size Spitfire and assorted military vehicles.
Warlord Games invite you to come and play some quick games of Bolt Action and Blood Red Skies.

Pus and Pimples SFX workshop
Workshops will take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Use make-up techniques from stage and film to create the ravages of Smallpox, bursting Black Death buboes or the horror of gangrenous wounds.
Cost: There is a small charge of £3 per wound in addition to usual museum admission charges.

Venom vs poisons!

Interactive shows running at 11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm to discover how our animals use their amazing abilities to survive.
