Bradford Industrial Museum will once again host its annual Victorian Christmas Market.
The event, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2019, will see the Bradford Council-run museum transformed into a Victorian Christmas wonderland, with over 80 festive market stalls selling delightful food, toys, clothes, jewellery and accessories as well as a host of arts, crafts and festive gifts.
There will also be costumed characters, with Dickensian miser Ebenezer Scrooge expected to make an appearance.
People will be able to visit Father Christmas on the specially decorated festive Bradford tram.
There will also be face painting, a concert band, Sandy Kidz Sand Art and birds of prey.
The free event, which is always one of the most popular Christmas activities in the district, runs on Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17 from 10am until 4pm on both days.
Phil Barker, Assistant Director of Sport and Culture at Bradford Council, said: “The Victorian Christmas Market is always a very popular event and is great for children. There is plenty to see and do and is a great place to pick up early Christmas presents and to get in to the Christmas spirit.
“The market is one of a wide range of Christmas events and activities planned over the festive period as part of the Sparkling Bradford Christmas campaign. The campaign brings together all the fantastic things that people can see, do or take part in during whole of the festive period.”
