The Town Hall team are working in association with Guiseley-based Codswallop CIC to bring the project to life. Codswallop CIC are well known locally for bringing creative opportunities to all members of the community, and this latest family-friendly endeavour is sure to bring joy and excitement to local children and their families.
Led by Ringmaster Jacob Phillips, Artistic Director of Codswallop CIC, the circus show will dazzle audiences with a programme packed full of talent. Jugglers, aerial performers and an illusionist are expected to stun audiences with their mesmerising performances.
With hour-long shows running throughout each day, and plenty of themed activities to get involved with before and after the show, the circus makes for ideal summer holiday entertainment. Plus, with family tickets costing just £32, it’s a great excuse to get the whole family together to watch a show suitable for all ages.
Children are being invited to take part in a colouring competition or short story competition for the chance to win a family ticket to the show. The colouring sheet and further information are available to download from www.yeadoncircus.com.
Jamie Hudson, Director of Yeadon Town Hall, says: “We wanted to provide an opportunity for families to get together and enjoy live entertainment – and transforming the Town Hall into a circus is an ideal way to attract all members of the community. This will be a fully accessible, enjoyable extravaganza and we can’t wait to welcome Mr Montgomery and his troupe of circus performers to Yeadon!”
