Friday Club at Menston Methodist Church

6pm Friday Club (monthly)

For ages 7 – 13 years

Friday Club usually meets on the last Friday of each month from 6pm to 7.30pm in the main hall at Menston Methodist Church for fun, games and activities with a Christian emphasis.  Refreshments are provided.  There is a charge of £1 per child.

We have a table tennis table, air hockey table and table football.  We arrange craft and baking activities as well as games and other activities.  We have an annual trip to a local farm, we have been to Reva Water Activity Centre, we have a light party as an alternative to Halloween and end the year with a Christmas party.   We also look forward to our residential weekend at Marrick Priory and our walk from Menston to Baildon finishing with a fish & chip tea.

Guiseley Baptist Youth Group

Our Youth group has many exciting activities and opportunities for young people to make friends, grow in their faith and serve alongside the adults in the church. If you are new to the church and wish to find out more about the youth activities, then please visit our Contact Us page.

The group is for young people from year 7 up  to 17 years old.  This group involves an hour of free time; where young people can play pool, table football, table tennis, a variety of card games or go on some of our Xbox games including FIFA 22 and Forza Horizon, or play Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii.
Followed by some organised games and a short talk promoting Christian values.
This group runs virtually every Friday evening between 7pm and 8:30pm at Guiseley Baptist Church.

 

Open Access Youth Session at The Warehouse Ilkley

5.45-8.15pm Wednesdays

A busy interactive youth club session, where young people can play pool, table tennis, sports, get involved in arts and crafts, group discussions, music and Cooking.

Sessions are run by youth workers who create a warm, safe and inviting space for young people.

For young people ages 11-19.  No need to book – just turn up.

Teenage Cafe, Shipley

Do you know someone 13-16 years old who would enjoy the new Teenage Cafe meet up on Fridays in Shipley?

This is a space for teenagers to relax and be with friends. Organised by Kynd, it’s taking place at Wharf St Coffee the last Friday of the month!

The Buzz Youth Club at The Hive in Silsden

We run free youth club sessions every Wednesday evening and alternate Saturdays for children aged 8 to 12 and a Free Teen movie night on the last Friday of every month.
All our youth events are free and fully funded through charitable donations.
