Fraud Manager for a maternity cover contract, Ilkley.
The Role will work within the Legal and Regulatory Department, reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager and will have Team management responsibility for the work of the Fraud Team dealing with the day to day monitoring, investigation and fraud/financial crime prevention relating to customer accounts, in line with company polices and procedures. The Fraud Team are responsible for all customer disputes, contentious recalls and the reporting of suspicious activity to the MLRO. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle a wide range of requests, transactions, enquiries and concerns, in an efficient and professional manner • Provide subject matter expertise, direction, guidance, support and clarity to the team on a daily basis, ensuring full delivery of service by them in accordance with company policies and procedures and within strict deadlines • Ensure effective resolution of investigations, adhering to relevant security standards, internal and external procedures and legislative requirements • Provide subject matter expertise and appropriate reporting on performance of the Team to the Senior Compliance Manager • Coordinate and prepare monthly MI submission reports to the Senior Compliance Manager • Understand and evaluate potential fraud indicators and the impact of current internal/external fraud trends. Communicate with the Senior Compliance Manager in order to implement mitigation measures Knowledge / Skills: • Strong background in a Fraud Prevention/Monitoring/Analytics role • Strong background in a management role People/team development • Excellent organisational and decision-making skills and a keen eye for detail – Essential • Financial Services Sector or banking experience would be an advantage Interested?
