Our supported lodgings providers do a great job by providing a welcoming and supportive home for local young people…could you join our award winning team?
Our No Wrong Door service is looking for people from all walks of life, who could help young people to turn their lives around by becoming one of our supported lodgings providers…
So, if you enjoy making a difference, and you have a spare room, becoming a NWD high needs supported lodgings host can also be a great way to earn an additional income. It’s not as hands-on as fostering, for example, so suits people who may be working, either full or part-time.
You’re not offering a permanent home, just a home for a young person until they’re ready to live independently.
In return, we’ll give you full support and training, and once you are assessed, you can expect to receive around £285 per week tax free (whilst you have a young person in placement) equivalent to an annual salary of £14,820. You will also have the additional opportunity to work in one of our No Wrong Door residential hubs at an hourly rate of £10.71.
