Fostering North Yorkshire: Meet Chloe – could you fostering be for you?
Christmas and New Year can be magical times…but for some young people – like Chloe – its the time of year when the evenings are dark and cold – so its not great to be hanging out on your own, whether in town or in the park or playground if you just need to get away from stuff at home for a while.
But that’s what Chloe seems to be doing more of just recently because things haven’t been right at home for what feels to her like a long time…she’s been staying over at her friend’s house, too, but now Holly’s mum has contacted social services because she was so concerned, so maybe, after all, things could change for the better?
Here’s where you could come in… because if you have a spare bedroom and could offer a warm welcome and some support to a local young person unable to live with their own family, we’d love to hear from you!
By fostering with us, you really will be making a difference to young people like Chloe who may have experienced either physical or sexual abuse, or neglect.
We’ll provide all the training and support you need, plus great payments for every night you care. There are other types of fostering we are recruiting for, too – and there are other young people like Chloe out there right now – could you be the one to make a difference for them?
