Which is why, every year the Cash For Kids ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal invites people to buy one extra gift alongside their Christmas shopping, that can be given to a disadvantaged local child to make their Christmas morning special.
Mission Christmas is now the biggest Toy Appeal in the UK. In 2018 it distributed gifts to more than 294,000 disadvantaged kids across the UK – with 27,215 of the recipients living in West Yorkshire.
Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids launch the 2019 Mission Christmas appeal on Monday 11th November, and aim to beat last year’s fundraising total and help to support as many children as possible from Leeds and West Yorkshire.
How Can You Take Part?

Cash for Kids works with thousands of grass-root organisations across the UK who support disadvantaged children (0 – 18 years). Mission Christmas works closely with social workers, headteachers and the emergency services who will nominate families in crisis to be supported by the appeal.
Mission Christmas is proudly supported by B&M and hundreds of volunteers who assist with the sorting and distribution of gifts.
