Join the festive fun in store from 11 am on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November to meet Santa’s merrymakers entertaining you, Mrs Claus in the Food Hall, festive face painting and Christmas donkey rides!
This year’s magical grotto at Tong Garden Centre opens its doors to you for a limited time tour to see Santa!
Santa’s personal assistants take you behind the scenes in this never-before-seen grand tour to meet Santa and, if you show your backstage pass, then you can enter his toy shop to pick your own gift*!
Book in advance to enjoy your 30-minute tour at your chosen time (so no queues with little ones getting impatient!) and experience this interactive journey with Santa’s trusty tour guides before meeting Santa himself and choosing a gift.*
Book the grotto for the festive family fun weekend for a special price of £10 or £5 for babies under 12 months old.

Festive ‘Merry Makers’ are at Tong this weekend from 11 am creating Christmas cheer, so join them to share a joke with Chris Cracker, be quizzed by Nicholas Nutcracker and say hello to the fairytale snow queen! The merrymakers will also take to the cabaret stage on the hour every hour from 11 am to 4 pm for a fun-filled show packed with excitement, music and festive flossing!!
And don’t forget to stop by and say hello to Mrs Claus in the Food Hall – kids wearing their favourite Christmas jumper will receive a little treat!**.
There’s also a festive face painter and – back by popular demand – the donkeys are at Tong this Christmas***, just £2.50 per child with 10% donated to Leeds-based charity, Candlelighters.
New at Tong Garden Centre, enjoy an alternative menu of tasty treats in the Polar Bear Café including speciality hot chocolate, mugs of soup, hot dogs, sharing ice creams and slushies.
A Magical Post Box has popped up at Tong Garden Centre and any letter with a very special stamp, goes straight to Santa!
Write your letter to Santa, buy your special stamp, then post it in the magical post box and Santa will send you a letter in return!
The last post is Friday 14th December so Santa can send you a special letter in return!
Special Santa stamps cost just £1 at Tong Garden Centre and you’ll be making a difference to children fighting cancer right here in Yorkshire as all proceeds will go to Leeds-based charity, Candlelighters.
