Super Moon and Stars Party At Brymor with an Astronomer Richard Darn

19th February 2019 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Brymor Ice Cream | High Jervaulx Farm | HG4 4PG

Our National Parks remain some of the darkest places in England and we are excited to be part of the 2019 Dark Skies Festival organized by the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, North York Moors and the South Downs Nation Parks in February 2019.

The Dark Skies festivals are all about discovering, learning and enjoying the dark and the stars you can see as a result.

Join us for a fun and informative evening at Brymor Ice Cream with an exclusive screening of the film ‘Saving The Dark’ followed by moon and star gazing with Richard Darn.

Tickets
£5 for adults £3 for children under 16 to include a cone of Brymor’s exclusive flavour ‘Dark Skies Galaxy Delight’ Ice Cream.
Contact Laura to reserve your ticket here by calling 01677 460377.

The 19th February is also a Super Moon – one of only three times in 2019 when the moon is closest to the earth! Join us, it’s going to brilliant!

6pm – Saving The Dark
Saving the Dark explores the need to preserve night skies and what we can do to combat light pollution.

7pm – Super Moon and Star Gazing With Amateur Astronomer Richard Darn (indoor alternative if weather isn’t suitable)

Children of all ages are welcome but we feel the subject matter would suit age 11+
