We’re celebrating the launch of the National Paralympic Heritage Trust’s Exhibition with a host of activities on the 20th July – just right to get a sporty start to the weekend.
Working with the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, Bradford District Parks, and Cliffe Castle parkrun we’re starting off the day with a parkrun with a difference!
The schedule is as follows
On the day
9am
The 5k parkrun will be held as normal but we will also have guest VIPs and a whole host of other attractions.
If running or walking the course is not your thing, come along and cheer those participating and create a great celebratory atmosphere. A nice cheer for the finishers is always appreciated.
10am
The museum will open an hour earlier than normal to allow access the exhibition There’s some new stories to share, as well as the inspiring history of the Paralympic Movement.
11am
VIP Speeches
11.30 – 1pm Incredible Me Family Fun
Try your hand at a range of crafts, activities and games. There will also be health, information and advocacy advice tables
