Outdoor Theatre returns to Bolton Abbey this summer!
Saturday 16 July – Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, adapted by Oliver Gray
Wendy Darling is certain she saw the face of a boy at her bedroom window 3 floors up – yet no-one believes her. So who can blame her when she agrees to fly away to the idyllic Neverland with him? But is Neverland as perfect as it seems? Or will the evil Captain Hook and his band of pirates kill Peter and rule over it themselves?
Running time: 1 hour 40 minutes (including a 20 minute interval).

Saturday 6 August – A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare
Illyria doing what they do best – Shakespearean comedy!
Shakespeare’s timeless comic masterpiece explores every colour in the spectrum of love, from arranged marriage to elopement and from infatuation to hatred. Add to this bawdy mix a heady brew of confusion, magic and mischief, and you have the most perfectly frothy comedy for a moonlit summer evening.

Capacities are limited and all tickets must be booked in advance.
Please bring your own seating and weather appropriate clothing.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase on site, however you are welcome to bring a picnic.
This is a ticketed event – access will not be granted to those without tickets
Please park in Bolton Abbey Car Park at Bolton Abbey
Free parking on production of your ticket (after gates open at 5pm depending on which event you have booked).
Refreshments and lavatories will be available on site
Only assistance dogs are allowed within the arena
