“The Language of the Fan!”
This hour and a half workshop from Sasha Mattock begins with a short background exploring the development of the fan from the 6th century and how they were used as a form of communication without words by hiding and showing certain facial expressions. Design and make your own fan and then try out some of the movements in a short movement exploration.
