A fun day of activities and entertainment promoting sustainability and our environment including:
• A free, family-friendly outdoor performance exploring climate change by Mind The Gap at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
• Photography activity using just the sun and plants!
• Seed Giveaways.
Bug encounters.
• Pollinator activities. Join CCSG at 11 am – 12 pm for a Flower Insect Timed FIT Count. Meet at the 1st Glasshouse. And then again 12.30 pm – 1.15 pm for a Meadow wildflower walk taking a closer look at Cliffe Castle meadows. Meet at the Picnic area.
• Riddlesden Green Connection, with Plastic Free Riddlesden and Zero Waste Thelma will also be there demonstrating ideas for sustainable living, with eco-liquids and plastic-free products to buy. Bring your empty bottles to refill with washing up, laundry, fabric conditioner, anti-bac hand wash, anti-bac surface cleaner, shampoo and body wash. (Glass bottles with trigger spray & toilet cleaner bottles are available.) Price list available.
