Wednesday 8 August, Millennium Square, Leeds
Following on from the successful Child Friendly Leeds ‘Big Birthday Bonanza’ last year, we are pleased to bring you ‘ Child Friendly Leeds Live’ for one day only on Wednesday 8 August on Millennium Square, Leeds. The event is aimed at primary school aged children and there will be some famous special guests hosting and performing on the day, as well as the ‘Breeze has Talent’ competition featuring young people performing dance and music. We will also have arts, crafts and sports activities taking place and it’s going to be lots of fun.
The idea for this event came from Will (aged 8) who attends Tranmere Park Primary and was one of the winners of our 2017 competition where we asked children and young people around the city to tell us what would help make Leeds city centre more child and family friendly. There will be a small charge to attend to help cover the costs of staging the event and tickets will be available at the end of June.
