The Castle Yard Arts Festival starts in the Manor House, Ilkley. 27 artists all members of the Ilkley Arts Hub have come together to showcase their creative talents in this exhibition.
With over 60 pieces of art on display ranging from watercolour, pastel and oil to ceramics, jewellery and woodwork there is something for everyone to enjoy and admire especially during this difficult and challenging year.
10 and 11 October – will be the online Castle Yard Festival. The exhibition in the Manor House will also be open to visitors too throughout the weekend.
This is our first venture into orchestrating an online festival and we are looking forward to trying new things and working in a different way with artists and the community. We will also be launching the new online shop – Discover Ilkley Art – that will start with showcasing the Castle Yard Arts Festival artists so you can purchase works online too.
This will be a different experience from the normal Ilkley Art Trail but we hope it will bring some new audiences to Ilkley Arts and offer the opportunity for individual artists to showcase and talking about their work in an informal and engaging way.
