Countryside Live is the perfect day out for families, with a cookery theatre, live performances, animals, shopping and a Create & Explore area with hands-on activities for children. FREE face painters will be on hand to turn the little ones into their favourite character. Join in with circus skills and watch your children’s excited faces as they learn to throw a diabolo and juggle bean bags or watch the wool spinners fast at work. From kneading dough to having a go at making the perfect sausage, there will be lots of opportunities for the younger ones to get hands-on and learn where their food comes from and how it’s made. Get up close and meet a variety of animals including farm animals, newly hatched chicks, alpacas plus some more exotic creatures and bugs. There will also be arena displays including birds of prey, sheepdog and ducks and even the chance to race against a ferret!
There are indoor and outdoor activities so it doesn’t matter what the weather is doing!
