1. The Box
There are some lovely Christmas Eve boxes around but if you have decided to do this last minute, a shoe box wrapped in wrapping paper will suffice. (perhaps raid the crafting stuff for some stickers and glitter?!
2. Christmas Movie
Some fab Christmas films listed here. If you don’t have a suitable DVD up your sleeve, why not check out our Christmas TV guide here
3. Christmas Story
There is still time to pop to the library to take out a book….if you don’t want to buy one.
4. Hot Chocolate
Those chocolate stirrers are fab and the kids love them. Perhaps add some squirty cream and some marshmallows… You could include a new mug as well if you wish.
5. Reindeer Food
Quick to make with porridge oats and bird food. Then maybe add some grass and some leaves (can be cut out into nice shapes) for some colour. Stay away from the glitter etc as it’s not animal and bird-friendly.
6. Some extra marshmallows
Pimp up the hot chocolate with some extra marshmallows!
7. Gingerbread
Gingerbread is a Christmas essential (in our eyes anyway) so pop in a festive biscuit for your little ones to enjoy, Any bakers will be able to help you here!
8. Pyjamas
Everyone loves new PJs for Christmas! Or maybe a onesie!
9. Slippers
I’m a huge slipper fan, there is nothing worse than cold feet! The kids seem to love them too. Loads of cheap novelty ones in supermarkets, Boyes, Yorkshire Clothing etc.
10. Novelty toothbrush to encourage some teeth brushing over Christmas…
Hope you all have a lovely Christmas!
