This year’s festival will include both live events, taking place in Covid-safe and socially distanced spaces at some of Bradford’s most iconic venues, and a selection of free digital events, ensuring everybody can take part.
Alongside appearances by Caitlin Moran, Jacqueline Wilson, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, Michael Rosen, Alison Weir, Tez Ilyas and Ellery Hanley, we’ll have a broad range of panel discussions covering everything from the 40th anniversary of the New Cross Fire to the legacy of the #MeToo movement.
Festival favourites also return, including our annual walking tours, Poetry with a Punch, Lyrical Mehfil and the mesmerising Sufiana Kalaam; and we’ll be celebrating local authors including AA Dhand, Saima Mir and Aamnah Rahman.
